Lentil & Tomato Dahl with Chapati

Ingredients

●     Cooked red lentils (dhal): 150g

●     Tomato (diced): 1 medium (90g)

●     Cumin (ground): ½ teaspoon

●     Turmeric (ground): ¼ teaspoon

●     Garlic (minced): 1 clove

●     Chapati (whole wheat): 1 medium (about50g)

●     Oil (for tempering spices): 1 teaspoon

●     Salt and water: to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté garlic, cumin, and turmeric in oil.
  2. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
  3. Stir in cooked lentils and simmer for 5–10 minutes with water for desired consistency.
  4. Serve hot with warm chapati.

Cook lentils with tomato, cumin, turmeric. Servewith whole wheat chapati.
