Herbal Apple Tea

Ingredients

●     1 fresh Apple (medium size)

●     5 g loose-leaf Black tea

●     2 pieces Star anise

1 small stick Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Rinse the apple, cut into slices, and juice to obtain approximately 500 ml juice.
  2. Rinse star anise and cinnamon, drain well.
  3. Dry-roast star anise and cinnamon in a pot for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour apple juice into the pot, bring to a boil, add black tea leaves, reduce heat, simmer gently for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  5. Strain tea through a sieve to remove tea leaves, star anise, and cinnamon. Pour into cup and garnish with fresh apple slices.
